After a dedicated fundraising journey to return this vital space to the local community, we are proud to announce the official opening of its brand-new Multi-Use Hall on June 1st. This milestone marks a significant expansion for the charity, transforming the centre into a true "all in one" destination for exercise, business, and social connection.
A Space for Every Occasion
The centerpiece of the expansion is the 11m x 16m Multi-Use Hall. Designed to be a "clean canvas" for the community, the space features:
Capacity for 150 people, making it ideal for large parties or corporate events.
Advanced LED Lighting that can shift from a bright sports environment to an atmospheric event space.
Multi-use sports flooring designed for both high-impact exercise classes and formal receptions.
Tiered pricing starting at just £20 per hour for community groups.
Beyond the Court: New Professional & Social Spaces
Recognising the need for versatile work environments, we have also launched a dedicated hireable meeting room. This quiet, professional space is equipped with Wi-Fi and is perfect for local business owners or organizations seeking a modern meeting venue.
Furthermore, the centre is debuting a new pop-up social space. This area serves as a relaxed "third space" where residents can gather for a coffee after a workout, socialise with friends, or simply connect with other members of the community.
A Future-Focused Facility
"This project was born out of a desire to give this space back to our community," says Tom Vinall, General Manager. "By combining high end features like our new lighting and PA systems with accessible community rates, we’ve created a hub that works for everyone, from local instructors to party planners".
The facility is fully wheelchair accessible and offers free car parking for all visitors.
