Full job description

Atlantic Racquet Centre is a vibrant, growing community racquet & fitness facility in Bideford. We pride ourselves on creating a friendly, welcoming, and supportive collaborative environment where people of all ages and abilities can enjoy staying active.

We are seeking a qualified, dynamic, high-energy freelance Spinning & Group Exercise Instructor to join our team and deliver inspiring sessions in our brand-new, fitness studio. If you love motivating others and want to play a key role in our expanding fitness community, we want to hear from you!

  • Contract: Self-Employed.

  • Pay Rate: £14.30 – £17.70 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications).

  • Hours: 2 to 5 hours per week (dependent on the variety of classes you can provide and customer take-up)

  • Location: Bideford EX39 (In Person, studio-based)

The Role:

  • Planning and delivering dynamic, safe, and engaging Spinning (indoor cycling) and group exercise classes.

  • Bringing infectious, high-octane energy to every class to keep our members motivated, retained, and coming back for more.

  • Structuring classes that cater to various fitness levels, ensuring a welcoming environment for all participants.

  • Connecting with members to build a loyal, fun fitness community within our bespoke studio.

Person Specification:

  • A recognised Level 2 Fitness / Group Exercise Instruction qualification (Level 3 Personal Training or specialised Indoor Cycling/Spin certifications are highly desirable).

  • You must hold a valid public liability insurance certificate.

  • Exceptionally positive, highly motivating, and energetic.

  • Organised, professional, and reliable in managing your own schedule.
